The Story of Creation Vs. The Bible



Many people have their way of believing Earth and humans were made. This way of thinking forms different beliefs and religions such as Christianity, Islam, Catholic, Buddhism, and etc. One of the main religions is Christianity and it has a unique way of explaining the birth of the Earth. Also, Native Americans have a similar way of the forming of the earth. I will explain to you the similarities and differences between the too.

The two stories from the Bible and story of creation have similar beginnings. In the Story of Creation the story of the earth was “The beginning there was no earth, no water-nothing. There was only a Person, Juh-wert-a-Mahkai (the Doctor of the Earth)’’. In Bible it starts off “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. It simple to see the difference in text the Native Americans say that there was nothing but one person “Juh-wert-a-Mah-kai”. The similarities between the two stories are that there was only one person as there was only God. The Difference is that it started off with the earth and heavens in the Bible as in the story of creation there was nothing.

Also, the creation of man or Human seemed to be quite similar. The Bible way of telling it is that the man is created after the creation of earth and all its essentials from “dust of the ground which he breathed life”. The story of creation tells that people were made before the complete earth was created “ it as the Doctor of the Earth created a person he made him out of his eye”. Both were made out of their leader’ s image. The time that man was made was different.

The way the humans were left to live on earth has two different stories. The Bible says that Adam and Eve took a bite of an apple from the forbidden tree of Eden therefore, they were sent off the garden. The other way it’s told is that “Juhwertamahkai did not like the way his people acted, to kill and eat each other, and so he let the sky fall to kill them”. These events supposedly lead to a new world. The Bible tells as the people rebelling his rules and getting punished as the story of creation, also. However, the Story of Creation says that this happened that people were killed as a punishment of killing each other and the Bible the humans were sent off because of biting a tree.

The Bible and The Story of Creation have many similarities, but also may differences. The Bible has a God as the story has a person (a doctor of the earth). Both were made out of their leader’ s image. Also, The earth and heavens in the Bible as in the story of creation there was nothing. They both, have the same overall basics, but have creative depths.
