What is an expedition? An expedition is a voyage to find something new and undetermined. That’s what being portrayed in the articles. A tale that unlocks and disperses the first journeys that happened during the modern world. It shows how life was for all the newly discovered lands and religions trying to analyze one another.

Both articles on Christopher Columbus and Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca were similar. They were two determined young explorers traveling to find a “New World”. Their kings and queens made it possible for them to with their support (finances and equipment). The purpose for them traveling goes even deeper for them to discover new civilizations and to even expanding their faiths. Both were form small nobilities and set off to make their own riches.

How is pathos inflicted in the articles? It starts off telling about the explorers’ life helping us make a better interpretation of the people and the reasoning. The structure of the articles makes a great appeal to the audience. It helps to have a connection with the writing. Therefore, it becomes realistic and more intriguing to the reader.

How is logos in inflicted in the articles? The writer uses interesting facts about them traveling to catch our attention, also. In order, to show that the articles are non-fiction and real adventures taking place. The conflicts and help make suspense and captivate our interest. The text helps you see out of their eyes and perspective instead of your own.

The articles help show how two different lives of explorers. The life of how the 16 century took to new discoveries and either embraced them or dispersed them. It was different the good outlooks some for the worst such as converting. It also displays how their was change and how the New Worlds and the Old World tried to come as one.
