Slave trade is south: Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi, and Atlanta. The reproduction of the slaves made population high in the south given them more profit. The whites in the south were notorious for having many slaves and considered poor when having none. The North was known as the place for blacks freedom, but the journey was dangerous.
The Underground Railroad played the role as journey to freedom. The blacks women playing the mother for their master sand their own children was a new job given to slaves. Also, to some to even breast-feed their newborns and youth. Children that were taken care of by the blacks were confused to be kind or evil to their caretakers. Although, soon they would be the owners of their caretakers and their children the destiny.
Blacks were down played, but most success of white people is owned and should be accolades to them. They played workers, housekeeper, maid, and even mistress to some of the masters. Who should be given the shine and glory? The whites who are the takers of the accolades or the people who do the hard work for nothing to gain, but to spare a beating.
African Americans deserve to be placed right aside the whites with their awards and acknowledgement. They have paid the price and work to be able to achieve what ever their heart desires.
