“White folks would get it all”. This is an example of the differences between the whites and blacks still having problems with finances. The whites having the American family, nice house, and job of which only blacks at this time and now could wish for. This gave the blacks want for opportunities of having higher paying jobs.
The fact that whites had a hundred acres and a mule overcoming the blacks without a doubt. The whites having an American culture and being the common race gave them better opportunities. The blacks had to excel highly to get a high position and still placed under the white people. The glass ceiling case of women only getting so high in high positions until they can’t getting any higher on the ladder.
The struggles of black folk and people are remarkable. They have come from being the servants of whites to know working side by side with them. It took many years for them to come this far and its incredible thanks to the 13th Amendment blacks are free. The other rights given them citizenship and voting rights to be know as an individual and not less a person.
